§ 22-29. Waivers.

The chief of the department of fire and emergency services or the fire marshal are authorized to grant exemptions from the provisions of O.C.G.A. § 30-3-1 et seq., with regard to the access and use of facilities by persons with disabilities. The decision of the chief of the department of fire and emergency services or the fire marshal on such exemption may be appealed to the board of construction adjustments and appeals.
