§ 6-37. Sale on election days.

  • Pursuant to the delegation of authority granted to this governing authority by Act No. 750 (House Bill No. 247), approved April 10, 1985, amending O.C.G.A. § 3-3-20(b)(2)(B), the sale of wholesale and retail of alcoholic beverages, to wit: wine and malt beverages shall be lawful during the polling hours of any election; provided, however, nothing herein shall authorize the sale of alcoholic beverages within 250 feet of a polling place during such time as the polls are open.
